Whilst on the site the code set out below must be followed at all times.
1) On arrival, you must set up camp on your designated area. Your camp site must be left clean and tidy as it will be inspected by one of the site crew.
2) Alter fires are situated around the site and are for cooking only, after use they should be watered down, and the ashes deposited in the designated area on the main carpark.
3) Axes bow saws or knives are not permitted in the Woodland. We are the custodians of a 400 year old woodland.
4) Any wood on the ground or in the wood pile may be used for fires but DO NOT cut wood from any of the trees
5) Within the woods there are several drainage ditches these along with areas marked NO ENTRY are OUT OF BOUNDS to all campers.
6) There are four clearly marked camping glades in the woods, these may be used by experienced campers with backwoods skills. Leaders must accompany younger campers in the glades and there must be NO OPEN FIRES only alter fires for cooking are permitted.
7) None burnable or indestructible waste should be deposited in the bins on each camping area or by the main gates.
8) All vehicles must be parked on one of the two main carparks no vehicles are allowed on any of the camping areas.
9) Dogs are only allowed on site with prior permission from the Warden
10) Out of consideration for our neighbours and other site users there must be no noise after 10pm.
11) No fireworks or parties/discos are allowed without the Wardens consent.
12) The Wardens decision on all matters is Final.
13) This is a natural wood land and users must be aware of falling branches and trees in windy conditions.
